Rosa "Granny" Robinson (1914-2006)
Rosa Smith Robinson -“Granny" - “Ms. Rosa” (1914-2006)
Ms. Rosa, Granny, was a “mother” to many many many children especially during crisis that comes with poverty, oppression, & youth.
She resided in Petersburg, VA. & was a faithful member of New First Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, member of the Pastor's Pulpit Aid, and served as the musician d a She She was a dedicated worker who went on to retire from her job at a local plant.
Her hobbies, which of course she excelled at including bowling in competitive leagues and sewing any stand out outfit from scratch. Wedding gowns, prom dresses, band uniforms, ….if you needed to make the moment memorable you hoped that Granny could sew something just for you.
She was dedicated to making life better & safer for the children she just took in for the time that they were in need.
Education. Safety. Protection. & Love for children. All children.
